Pew Research Center for the People and the Press

The Pew Centre is an independent research group that studies attitudes toward the press, politics and public policy issues. The Center conducts frequent opinion surveys, which are available in report form (for initial release) and datasets (available 6 months after release) in their data archive. The reports are online with downloadable .pdf tables and the datasets are zipped .csv files.
The Pew Center also runs the Global Attitudes Project, which gauges world attitudes on globalisation, changes in attitude towards democracy and other key issues, attitudes about terrorism and the intersection of Islamic faith with public policy in countries with significant Muslim populations. The page includes a summary of their findings and links to individual survey reports.
