National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI)

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) NCEI is a service consolidating the NOAA’S three former data centers (the National Climatic Data Center, the National Geophysical Data Center, and the National Oceanographic Data Center). NCEI hosts and provides access to over 25 petabytes of comprehensive atmospheric, coastal, oceanic, and geophysical data, including interactive maps and web services. Additionally, there is data catalogue providing links to downloadable datasets on a range of topics, including: Hazards, Geomagnetism; Marine, Geology and Geophysics; and Satellite Data Services.
