Original CDs kept by Data Library user workstation for general use. CD 4 is a set of 4 double CDs. Duplicate version of CD 4 on DVD. 'Version 2' has replaced original CDs 1-6 with the exception of CD4 Volume 1 Parts 1a, 1b, 1d, 1e and 1f.
SuperTABLE proprietary software is used on both the online site and the CDs to display the tables, which can be exported to Excel, CSV, or HTML format. The CD version offers greater interactivity, allowing table layout to be manipulated within SUPERtable.
The set of CDs and printed reports were purchased by the Data Library from the General Register Office for Scotland.
No registration required. Users can download data directly from the SCROL website (Scottish Census Results Online) or use the CDs at the Data Library workstation. Edinburgh University users may contact the Data Library for access.
