Substance Abuse & Mental Health Data Archive (SAMHDA)

This archive housed at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is a free, publicly available repository of current datasets (data files and their documentation). Over two dozen studies are currently available. An online subsetting mechanism is available for the following major studies: Monitoring the Future, National Household Survey on Drug Abuse, Treatment Episode Data Set, and Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area Drug Study (DC*MADS).Online analysis is facilitated by the SDA numeric analysis tool.
