HESA also provides HEIDI - a web-based management information service that provides access to HESA's quantitative data about higher education. Ten research datapacks are available by theme: ethnicity; entry qualifications in Higher Education; course results; first destinations of graduates; disability; overseas students; regional issues; ethnicity; academic staff; non-credit-bearing courses.
Freely available data on internet.
The HEIDI online database requires a subscription. University of Edinburgh staff can get a user account from the Governance and Strategic Planning Office. University of Edinburgh students may make an appointment with the Research Data Service to access the data. Academic users can get access to the raw data without charge via the Society for Research into Higher Education with an individual or institutional membership (Edinburgh University is a member).
