Digital Collections Online at the University of Exeter is the result of a JISC-funded project to capture and preserve digital artefacts and make them freely available for teaching and research. The collection comprises 4000 digital images drawn from the University’s special collections - Archive, Rare Books and the EVE (Everyone’s Virtual Exhibition) catalogue of the Bill Douglas Centre for the History of Cinema and Popular Culture. It includes 2000 images from Victorian culture - cartoons, manuscripts, periodicals, playbills, postcards and three dimensional objects.
